The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate all technical information including Building Design, Highways, Drainage, Utilities and Sustainability on projects from inception to completion whilst working to the Management team's technical brief.What you’ll do as a Senior Technical CoordinatorManaging the flow of technical information on a number of projects at any given time to ensure the projects are built on time and within budgetChecking and approving architect's and engineer's drawings and assist in the management of external consultants to minimise issues, thus maintaining strong working relationships and strengthening the regional performanceMonitoring the discharge of planning conditions, issue timely construction drawings and ensure enquiries and applications go to statutory service companies and local authorities to provide the highest standard of compliance for the Technical DepartmentLiaising with other company departments providing technical assistance whilst maintaining the highest standard of Health and Safety creating safe environmentsLiaising with the NHBC/LABC on Building Regulation matters and discharge conditions so the region will be compliant and the Sales team will be able to release plots for salePreparing and approving conveyance plans, legal plans and monitor technical specifications so the Technical team have the relevant approval for the Sales Team to progress the sales processProviding CAD work as required for the projects to support the wider technical teamEnsuring that on occasion when deputising for the Manager the team are allocated tasks, where quality of work will need to be verified to maintain it is completed to a good standard within company guidelinesGiven proven experience the role will involve mentoring and training junior members of the team and developing their skills to a sufficient level where they can take on more responsibility and add value to the team, thus improving productivity within the regionOn occasion provide assistance to the Manager when making key business decisions and attend regular regional meetings as the relevant subject expertWhat experience do I need?Experience of working within a residential developerCapable of producing viability layouts, detailed planning layouts for submission and other planning application supporting documentsExperienced with the use of AutoCad and the production of working drawings for construction useHND/HNC or equivalent qualification in constructionUnderstanding of general design and technical processes with a reasonable knowledge of building regulationsFull UK driving licenceSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesTechnology, Information and InternetReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at TieTalent.#J-18808-Ljbffr
