Mechanical Project Manager (Building Services) - 70,000 to 80,000 depending on experience + Company Car/Allowance + Bonus + Excellent Benefits We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a long-established M&E Building Services contractor and take ownership of mechanical packages across commercial, education, healthcare, data centre, and smart building projects. About the Company A highly respected and very successful Mechanical & Electrical Building Services contractor based in Cambridgeshire, delivering projects typically valued between 500k and 10m across multiple sectors. Responsibilities This position of Mechanical Project Manager is a varied role with a mix of office and site visits, commutable from Peterborough, Huntingdon, Cambridge and surrounding areas. As Mechanical Project Manager, youll take full responsibility for delivering mechanical building services packages from pre-construction through to handover. This is a client-facing role, requiring strong leadership and commercial awareness to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards. Managing the full lifecycle of mechanical projects from design input through to commissioning and handover Overseeing site teams and subcontractors, ensuring programme, budget, and quality objectives are achieved Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to drive seamless project delivery Providing technical input during design development, coordination, and value engineering Supporting procurement, subcontractor management, and commercial reporting Ensuring health & safety standards and company procedures are maintained across all projects This opportunity would also suit those currently working as a Senior Mechanical Project Manager, Mechanical Contracts Manager, M&E Project Manager, or HVAC Project Manager within the Building Services sector.
