The Role: They are currently seeking a mid-weight / Senior Interior Designer for what will initially be a fixed-term contract position of approximately 12 months in duration to cover maternity leave, but with potential that this period will be extended and/or become a permanent staff role. It is a good opportunity for an experienced Interior Designer with demonstrable project and stakeholder management skills to take ownership of a portfolio of varied and exciting schemes. Key responsibilities will include: Leading or supporting the project design process from concept through feasibility, planning and detailed design stages. Collaborate with the full design team through all stages, providing support and mentorship for junior team members when required. Ensuring clear communication with the client and other key stakeholders through the design and delivery process Coordinate with contractors and other multi-disciplined consultants to ensure the successful delivery of the project. About you Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate: BSc or HND in Interior Design, Architectural Technology or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience within a design consultancy environment. Good design and project management skills Good technical knowledge and a keen eye for details. Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential. A portfolio demonstrating suitable experience, ideally of projects within the hospitality or leisure sectors. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplined design and delivery teams. Whats in it for you?
