Electrical EstimatorMEP & Construction Services ProviderAbout the RoleOn behalf of our client, we're seeking an experienced and detail-focused Electrical Estimator to join a busy pre-construction team working across a diverse range of commercial, public, and industrial projects across Kent & London.You'll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive electrical estimates for projects including fit-outs, refurbishments, and new builds. This role requires a solid understanding of building services, electrical systems, and the tendering process, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, and internal teams.Electrical EstimatorPackage£50-65k PAHybrid workingCompany Phone and LaptopCompany Pension SchemeEmployee Benefits Scheme22 + 8 Holiday entitlementAdditional Day off for BirthdayElectrical EstimatorKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for electrical works across public health & commercial projects.Review tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to assess project scopeObtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotes to support accurate pricingLiaise with design, mechanical, and construction teams for coordinated submissionsIdentify value engineering opportunities and potential cost risksAttend tender clarification meetings and site visits as neededAssist in preparation of tender submissions and bid strategyMaintain up-to-date records of estimating activity and pricing databasesSupport handover to delivery teams post-awardElectrical EstimatorWhat You'll NeedProven experience as an electrical estimator, ideally within MEP or main contractingStrong technical knowledge of electrical systems and building servicesAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specificationsFamiliarity with current electrical regulations and installation practicesGood working knowledge of estimating software (e.g., Trimble, Estimation, or similar)Strong numeracy, analytical, and organisational skillsExcellent communication and team collaboration abilitiesElectrical qualification/background (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent) preferredStreamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
