As part of our long-term, strategic partnership with our water clients, we are supporting the delivery of AMP8 (2025 2030) projects under a 5bn framework agreement and now seek experienced Design Engineers to join our team to support this delivery. PROJECT MANAGER We are looking for an experienced ECC Project Manager who has a background in the Water or Utilities industry to join the team working onsite around Northern England, together with office activities where needed. NEC3/NEC4 project management qualification / accreditation is desirable. We will consider candidates on a permanent or freelance basis RESPONSIBILITIES: Review contracts and provide client advice. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements. Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled. Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures when necessary. Provide accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders. Oversee the negotiation and administration of contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure that contracts are adhered to and that work is completed within the specified scope and budget. Resolve any disputes or issues that may arise during the construction process. Maintain open and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory authorities, and internal teams. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues promptly.
