Utilities / Wastewater | Were looking for a skilled and motivated Wastewater Network Technician to support the adoption, inspection, and maintenance of wastewater infrastructure. Youll work directly with Self-Lay Providers (SLPs), ensuring that work on-site meets high technical and regulatory standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing utilities operation where safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are front and centre. What Youll Be Doing: Carry out day-to-day tasks on clean and wastewater networks Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards (WIRS, Water Supply regs) Use CCTV, mapping tools, and on-site checks to assess work carried out by SLPs Conduct flushing, sampling, leak detection, meter reading, and general asset audits Address customer queries on-site and support resolution of drainage issues Follow up on remedial works and escalate concerns as required Promote water efficiency and assist with sustainable network practices Contribute to policy development and participate in the standby rota when needed What Were Looking For: Essential: Experience in wastewater and/or clean water network operations Comfortable with field-based work, inspections, and compliance checks Understanding of WIRS and experience working with SLPs CSCS/EUSR registered Certifications in: National Water Hygiene Confined Spaces Sampling Minimum GCSEs (AC) in Maths and English Desirable: CABWI Water Engineering qualification Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation (including CDM Regs) Familiar with digital tools such as Excel and GIS mapping systems Key Attributes: Safety-first mindset and awareness of SHEQ standards Strong communication and teamwork skills Customer-focused approach with attention to detail Proactive, organised, and able to take ownership of field tasks Ability to build relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams Why Join Us?
