We are looking for someone who wishes to make a difference to our children & young peoples lives.As the Deputy Manager of a Learning Disabilities Residential Childrens Home you will support the Registered Manager to ensure that a warm, nurturing, accepting therapeutic environment is evidenced, delivered and developed in accordance with the Companys core values.You will be responsible for assisting the Registered Manager in the successful day to day running of the home whilst directing a team of qualified professionals, as well as inputting into the continuous strategic planning for developments within the home. Requirements of Role Proven experience of management at a senior level, preferably in a residential setting. An excellent working knowledge of governing legislation Level 3 or 4 Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce or equivalent Commitment to obtain (if not held) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services An ability to lead a team and to work as part of a team To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people Can commit to shift work; 7am - 3pm / 2pm - 10pm and 7am - 10pm with some sleep-in shifts. A full UK driving licence Candidates have to be aged 21+ You will be paid an additional 50 per sleep in.
