We're looking for a Robot Maintenance Support Technician to support the daily operations and health of an advanced robotic fleet within a fast-paced R&D lab in London.This is a hands-on contract role ideal for someone with 1-3 years' experience in a technical support or technician setting, especially if you've had exposure to robotics or automation systems - even in academic or early-career environments.What You'll Be Doing:Maintain robotic fleet health by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving both hardware and software issuesDevelop and assess workflows to identify and solve previously unknown technical problemsPerform code repository tasks: create local changes, submit/review CLs (changelists), and support configuration trackingKeep the robotic fleet database accurate by updating hardware statuses, assigning notes, and managing check-in/out workflowsAssist in creating onboarding and training documentation for new team membersParticipate in and contribute to Monthly Business ReviewsKey Technologies & Skills:Hands-on: Soldering, crimping, cable harnessingDiagnosing and replacing faulty hardware componentsExperience with robot test benches and simulation environmentsComfortable collaborating with cross-functional engineering teamsStrong documentation and communication habitsWhat We're Looking For:1-3 years' experience in a technical support, robotics, or technician roleExposure to robotic systems - professional, academic, or hobbyistDetail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage technical logs and documentationEagerness to work in a hybrid R&D lab setting, solving real-world robotics challengesThis is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience at the intersection of robotics and innovation, supporting a team whose work shapes products used by billions globally.Apply now for an immediate start.
