We're now looking for aSenior Quantity Surveyorto join our team taking commercial lead on a project in Darlington, where you'll play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of thePollam Hall Schoolproject a high-profile scheme that will leave a lasting legacy.nnYour role:nnAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take commercial oversight on this exciting project, managing cost and risk while ensuring value for money and contractual compliance. You'll be involved from early-stage feasibility through to final account, working closely with internal teams, clients, and supply chain partners.nnYou'll also:nnLead procurement and manage subcontractor packagesnPrepare and assess applications for paymentnMonitor project expenditure and produce CVRsnManage change control and mitigate commercial risknMentor junior team members and share your expertisennnWhat we're looking for:nnWe're after someone with...nnA degree (or equivalent) in Quantity SurveyingnStrong knowledge of NEC and JCT contractsnExperience in main contracting and large-scale 2-stage bidsnA collaborative, trusted, and focused approach aligned with Kier's valuesnA full UK driving licencennnWhat you can expect from us:nnAt Kier, you'll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
