Job DescriptionWe're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Transportation team based in Liverpool and the Northwest. In this role, you'll take the commercial lead on a newly secured project focused on the replacement of a significant number of highway bridges for a key client. You'll also provide support across a range of existing legacy schemes within the business. Supporting the movement of people, goods and equipment.nnLocation: Liverpool / Northwest - site based with some remote workingnContract: Permanent FulltimenSalary: 55,000 - 70,000 + 6.7k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefitsnnResponsibilitiesnAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll manage the commercial aspects of packages of work within the project to maximise planned gross margin through the production of estimates, placement and control of contracts and subcontracts.nYour day to day will include:nnProvide commercial expertise to contracts, to include the production and submission of valuations, claims, budget monitoring, and contract/workstream performance datanAssess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks and implement Kier Group's policies for risk managementnMaximise cash flow through the control, measurement (including quality) and valuation of work, and the invoicing of customers and payment of suppliersnPromote Kier Group's values towards its customers in order to meet or exceed their expectationsnnnWhat are we looking for?nThis role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great if you:nnExperience within a similar role in Highways/Construction/InfrastructurenExcellent communication skills both written and verbalnConfident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office in particular ExcelnnnRewards and benefitsWe're proud to be able to offer our brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
