An opportunity has arisen for a UX/UI Software Developer to join their existing team based in Poole, Dorset, (Hybrid working).The company offers flexible working hours, primarily as a hybrid position working in the office 2-3 days per week initially. Applicants must be based in Dorset or its nearby areas.This is an excellent opportunity where you will join a strong development team working on an exciting range of projects, as a developer with a focus on a UX/UI Design experience.Key responsibilities:Experience with UI/UX design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision15Skills in front end development using Blazor, React etc.Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibilityExpertise in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mock-upsExperience with user flow diagrams and information architectureSkills in visual design, including typography, colour theory, brand guidelines and layout principlesExperience in conducting user research and usability testing, with an ability to analyse user feedback and translate it into design improvementsKnowledge of accessibility standards and best practicesKey requirement, problem-solving aptitude specific to user experience challengesIncluding an adaptability to new design trends and user interface technologiesA small portfolio of examples and explanations of what benefits you enabled would be a distinct advantage when applying.The ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing a commitment to high quality work with a healthy level of pragmatism.
